Wow, amazing testing and results. Nicely done, Jacob, especially your explanations.

DLT currently has a few configurations right now, starting at $345. Just for comparison the Rieff knives F6 in 3V with G10 scales is selling on DLT or $385.

Seems this knife held up great, I know the Cacula and Alaris I got is build like a brick sh&$house and been holding up great. I’m gonna try getting some beef bones to chop into for a edge test

I got one a couple days ago, I love it. Great ergonomics, well thought out design, and magnacut steel that seems to be heat treated correctly. I made some minor adjustments to the kydex sheath that came with mine (DLT trading co.), and I am happy with the tension. This is a great knife, order one and enjoy it. I recently got a Survive! GSO 5.1 in magnacut, I will have to do some comparisons.

I’ve been wondering about magnacut but it seems to hold up great here

So what you're saying is... XK&T will be making a combat knife in magnacut... 😉
@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors Жыл бұрын
Probably not at first. For the combat knives ill likely look for even more toughness. However i think Magnacut will be STRONGLY considered as a special edition option.

Excellent content & video! Hopefully my Tier 1 BC will deliver no later than this Saturday. I had no problem justifying what I spent at DLT Trading for this quality built FOBOS knife or for the Alaris that I bought last year.

How did we survive back in the 70s with 440, O-1 and A-2 ?😂. PS. Nice review. Thanks.

They were (and are) great steels when done right! The 440 series especially got a bad rap from all the chinese crap marketed as 440

Brother, ALL my original stuff was done in 440C, but if I made something in that steel now... it wouldn't sell. Even now, I still use A2, case in point, we made our Tombat in 3V & A2. The 3V version sold out at every dealer and the A2's are still sitting on some shelves.

63 to 64 is it optional numbers for its best performance not 62. That's what everyone says and the person who made that steel.
@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors Жыл бұрын
You should look more into what everyone says and the person who designed the steel. There is no such thing as "best performance"

if this were a folder we would have went with 63-64, not a lot of flex in the blade to be concerned with. Being a fixie with a Persian swedge... a very different philosophy my friend. v/r Erik Hansen of FOBOS Knives

Their knives are not for me. There's no guard and the finger groove is shallow.
