Back for another. This is the best Australian song I’ve heard in years. Can’t stop.

I love it. I’ve been affected by the post trauma of my parents and grandparents, my mum was in and out of psychiatric wards for more years than I can remember. My parents stuck together - migrants trying to live the Australian dream. As kids we went into respite foster care each time my m into psych care (me and my brother were considered for being adopted out but my dad said he’d rather try to keep the family together). My youth was messed up, leaving me and my siblings dealing with our own post traumatic stress. It’s hard to break the cycle. I have made a start with my kids and grandkids. I love how you talked about that experience in your song.

Saw you guys live before the Smith Street Band the other night. Now I can't stop listening to this song. The band coming in at 4:10 gave me goosebumps live, and I was hooked.

The first song I’ve come across in half a century that nails the multi generational trauma all of us Australians are swimming through, directly or indirectly. The personality disordered that populate our lives. This song is powerful. This song is us.

The New Australian Generation is yelling and we are not listening. A great raw, direct song arriving to you with overloads of sensitivity in its writing. A poem of freshness with hints of that rugged Aussie sound of yesteryear. The soul of Australia in full display without nome of the American commercially bind sound. This is amazing and cannot be better.

Wow, what a powerful track! The Pretty Littles really nailed the complex emotions of suburban life, the façade of the "Australian Dream," and the dark undercurrents of mental health and societal expectations. The lyrics are raw, honest, and thought-provoking. The juxtaposition of the 1950s ideal with the chaos beneath the surface is brilliantly done. It feels like they’re telling a story that so many people can relate to, but few are brave enough to speak about. The way the song moves from subtle tension to full emotional release is just haunting. "The eyes say more than the smiles ever could" - that line really hits home. What an incredible piece of songwriting and storytelling. Keep up the amazing work!
