'Guidelines for setting question papers for school boards coming soon': PARAKH CEO Indrani Bhaduri

In an interview with ThePrint, Indrani Bhaduri, CEO and Head of PARAKH, a standard-setting body under NCERT, said that soon there will be guidelines for setting question papers for school education boards to bring equivalence among boards. She added that PARAKH will also be creating a sample question bank for the boards. PARAKH has recently submitted a report with the Union Ministry of Education making various recommendations to bring equivalence among school education boards, as envisioned by the NEP 2020.

New Assessment scheme based on competence is a paradigm shift which will enable lateral thinking in children. It is a healthy pause, to give time to children so that they do the reflection. In fact it helps towards 'reflective teaching' practices! Appreciate PARAKH
