Sir, how do you say this is the first time Congress is pitching for lower taxes. It was the PVNarasimha Rao govt. which in 1992 reduced LTCG on equity to 20% with indexation ( earlier it was slab rates) in 1992. Again it was the Manmohan Singh Govt which further reduced LTCG to zero and STCG to 10% in 2004. Undoubtedly these gave great boost to the market. If we pollute the environment there will not no home for 1.5+ billion people. Service industry does not just mean low end majduri. There is high end design, financial, health, research services. But this requires investment in proper education for all. Why are we keep on fighting over few premier govt education institutions and keep bashing reservations? Because government has not invested enough in education. Second we don't know real value of education. It's not just for to get a piece of paper to get a job. It's to know how nature and our society work. And then only we will be able to make this place better to live on.

Under the patronage of Mr. Modi, the self-loving narcissist, the finance minister is on a disastrous course of crushing commons and promoting the richest who shamelessly spend thousands of crores in a wedding. Wake up, it’s high time this unempathetic and senseless government is taught a lesson.

Take an example of Halwa ceremony tradition and the metaphor he is trying to draw...thank god he mentioned there are 2 people from the deprived section ...as you know these not mere tokenisum for the sake of but purely professionals based on merit working in Fin miniestery. I find nothing significant in Rahul's speech. He is correlating absence of representation amongst budget makers to discrimination against communities by the Govt without pointing out exactly what parts of the budget are discriminatory on caste basis.
