I think RSS appeals only to a section of society ( cross-section of society) , I differ on this, Congress is now seen as a party that represents Muslims. Its J&K results show that clearly that no Hindu candidate was elected. National Conference on the other hand got 2 Hindu MLAs elected . Recent incidents in Bangladesh really shook India a lot, the violence on minorities, and that says everything, Yogi's "Batenge to Katenge" resonated well. Hindus have voted out of fear. LoP 's recent trip to US with his utterances and meeting Ilhan Omar who visited PoK created an impression that Congress is supporting people who kill Haryanvis ( Jat Regiment ). Nobody wants a government that gets into conflict relationship for 4 years with the center to do work, a 10 year incumbent cannot get re-elected especially when there are host of issues on the ground, Hope the new government takes up issues that concern people at least now.

This all started when Yogi's popularity was rising in 2020, Amit shah wanted to keep the popularity in check, in order to not let any party infighting take place, for which he deployed keshav maurya to monitor Yogi and keep him there. This information was leaked to Yogi, who enraged by this, started going against Amit shah, and started disrespecting Amit shah. Amit shah realising this, also understood that now Yogi has tasted blood, and would stop only when he gets to the chair of pmo. Since then, Amit shah brought lots of people from other parties, into bjp (to keep his side of camp stronger), this is when RSS came into picture. Many outsiders were getting bjp tickets over RSS candidates, undermining their dedication and devotion towards the nation. Eventually the split kept rising, upto such an extent, that rss stopped supporting bjp in general elections. RSS campaigned only for the candidates backed by rss. Eventually, this led to 2024 catastrophe of modi. On the other side, Yogi had positioned himself as a bigger leader than modi, and now holds more power in bjp than modi. The final battle was j&k and haryana. Yogi focused on Haryana whereas modi-shah focused on j&k. Oh, i forgot to add that the farmer protests were also done with support of rss and Yogi. As winning haryana was RSS and Yogi's responsibility, it was easier for them to convince the angry cardre. Haryana's victory has made modi even weaker than before. It has shown that Yogi has become more powerful than modi. I believe, the opposition conspired along with Yogi and RSS, to weaken up modi and shah. ​@@Catalyst-r
