Mohan Bhagat and RSS leadership are sensible! They understand the difference between historical reclamation of crucial Hindu sites which are core to the Hindu faith vs triggering fanaticism for political benefit. Majority of Hindus will not support such fanaticism. The left media tries to show as if most Hindus are crazy fanatics but that’s not true. Hinduism is truly secular at its core. Hence most Hindus are secular and respect other religious places. We will fight for our rights where we feel the dharma is on our side but we will not support attacking or bullying the weak just because we are majority! That’s not dharma!

IMHO it's more subtle than that. In the very long-term, unless there's an attitude adjustment by the Muslim "ummah", Hindus (and Christians and Buddhists) will always be in danger from Muslims. However, in the short term, India needs to focus on reaching a $10 trillion economy, and these things are just distractions.

True! Majority Indian will not like digging at each mosque. When China and US are fighting over AI/ML we can't fight over injustice done in Medieval Era. Everyone knows there are about 18000 such mosques and if people will focus on this then we will definitely loose advantages of demography and India will be trapped as Middle Income Economy. India doesn't need radical youth and riots but we need new industries and jobs for DEVELOPED ECONOMY.

While RSS chief is being sensible, it is imperative to note that, such issues arise because there exists a recorded verifiable history of temples being destroyed to build mosques during medieval period. People have living memories of these incidents in their communities. Yes, we need to forgive and let go. But forget, we must not. And leftists were trying to make sure we forget. Honesty and acceptance are important.
