Arun Shourie is a respected person, I do agree with him on a lot of views expressed here which are of deep concern. But proclaiming the collective mandate of 300 million voters out of some 500 million who did vote as communal and based on false belief is far to blind a faith and over simplification. These views won't help the democratic cause.

I am shocked to hear that a Party whip is issued while Impeachment Motion is taken up. This is not correct. In fact there is no party line for Impeachment. It is based on individual sign of each member of the house. 50 member in case of RS or 100 MPs of LS. So Mr Arun shourie is entirely wrong to state that it is taken on party lines and party whip can be issued. Further in case of Loya whatever he says is based on Caravan report. Even assuming all those are right, the 4 judges of the Bombay high court have given written statement to the fact that they were there at the time of death of Judge Loya and hence there is no foul play in that. Why Mr Shourie is not highlighting this fact also. He conveniently hides the inconvenient point. What else he can do before Shekar Gupta who himself is a strong suspect in Helicopter case. So Shekar Gupta and Arun shourie have the same enemy. So naturally they are friends.

Shourie saaheb, men can't be convicted based on your personal convictions, beliefs or perceptions ! Your arguments are as immaculate as they are presented in fiction of Agatha Christi or Sherlock's Home. But Shourie ji men on bench have to go by the evidence and merits of the cases in front of them. You are an outstanding intellectual, let's hope judiciary or any other appropriate forum will take note of your submissions ! But I am sure they are not in the interest of common men nor they are for their consumption, as they are likely to spread confusion even anger and frustration ! You look to be far too ahead of the times we are living in and moreover you are far more well read and well informed , the list of books on variety of subjects you have authored, amount of articles written in newspapers are just awesome and overwhelming ! They shall remain a source for reference in times to come.
