No ur theory is probably wrong as of I think, I know u would link it to salar and say that her son is still alive. But no if u have noticed adhera men have put the sword on his neck so he cut off his head probably. So in India there is a certification board named UA. They give green signal to the movies to be released in theatre and they won't promote it if it has some worst blood shed scene like cutting of throat and all like in Netflix series, if it is shown in movies then they probably say the production house to edit it or else the movie will get banned. So I think due to UA certification they have not shown his face coz it's probably shed off his body.

Look carefully 1 - the didn't show his death 2 - they didn't show his body 3 - they introduced him as a main character 4 - Yash presented him as a talented prospect, a young upcoming Tamil actor 5 - he is linked to salaar There are too many clues that indicate there is more to his character than just dying in the first half of the movie. Why would they invest in a character and promote this actor if they weren't planning on using him? Clues go beyond the movie, think about it. If his head was cut off, how did the cloth show a covered head?
