Very timely for new beginners building their very own first pc. While I was able to get by with the simplest or basic stuff from videos during my first build-when it comes to plugging in connectors, you need only rely on the manuals that come with your components. And I'm sure many will be able to get it right the first time just by doing that.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I have reviewed SO MUCH content over the last 24 hours, all of which wasn't helpful in describing PC cable installation. It was either an overview of their favorite PC parts, or a video to share their knowledge with no context or instructions. None of which is really helpful to new builders. When I built my PC almost a year ago I used the pig tail connectors on the GPU without thinking too much about it. Recently I learnt that that little mistake was the reason I kept getting game crashes and my GPU completely shutting down without apparent reason. Also the PSU was kind of shitty but the cables also didn't help. Almost burnt my 3070 Ti because of a bad PSU. Always buy good PSUs and connect them the best possible way
