As I’m also a motorcycle rider I can attest to the Lord protecting me on the road and the Word of God is powerful! He brought me out of being in a motorcycle club living a compromising lifestyle. We can stand on His words and know that He will do what He said. Personally I’ve had a couple close calls and I am trying to memorize this whole psalm. This song is lovely and makes that much easier to do

@@jessicagill8704 Hi Jessica, the was I memorize scripture is, I read a verse or two and them I close my eyes and repeat the verse. I do it until I get it memorized. Then I will go to the next verse or two. When I get them memorized I say the verses together. After I start saying them together I move on to the next verse and read them and then say them all together. It takes a little while but it is while worth it. I Sk the Holy Spirit to help you. Hi Jenny, Thanks for your question! I (Shane) use a combination of Bible translations, primarily the ESV, KJV/NKJV, NIV, and NASB, to put the lyrics together. I also study the Psalms extensively with commentaries from Boice, Goldingay, Ross, Henry, Spurgeon, Calvin, and others to make sure we are capturing “the essential meaning of every verse.” I do not follow any specific translation word-for-word, though some songs may come somewhat close. I try to balance faithfulness to the literal text with the aesthetic quality of the song.
