I think I’m confused on the posteriorly rotated pelvis vs posterior pelvic tilt. I would think that choice A would posteriorly rotate which would be what we are trying to prevent. However, I understand that we want to strengthen hip flexors with a posterior rotation. Your videos have taught me so much btw!! You’re awesome!!

If our goal is to activate hip flexors, wouldn’t we want to ACTIVATE hip flexion, not RESIST it? When I think of resisting hip flexion, I think of using glutes/posterior LE muscles to resist said motion

Hey Nick! Thanks for the question! You are thinking of this concept backwards. If you resist hip flexion you will activate the hip flexors. Same thing if you wanted to cause the biceps to contract you would resist elbow flexion, not elbow extension.

The PT Hustle Thank you! I think I was just over thinking it.

When you do hip flexion, the pelvis rotates posterior.....
