During Quit India movement in 1942, Sawarkar and Shama Prasad Mukherjee and RSS along with Jinnah and Muslim league formed government in states states, North West Frontier, Sindh and Bengal whereas Congress leaders were put in jail for not cooperating with the Britisher. This is the history of RSS.
