Dr. Sinha ji, Shukriya your talks have been extremely insightful. I was wondering if you had views of Heidegger’s philosophy as being within the enframing or influence of Vedic concept of being and time. After all, Germany has been the place for the study of Sanskrit and Indic culture. Besides, Heidegger was amongst the founding intellectual’s of the Nazi movement and the period he developed his philosophical framing was also the time when the swastika was incorporated as the Nazi symbol/flag. Besides the political associations, there seems a strong intellectual influence of world views and on philosophical grounds. Heidegger’s philosophy even if seen as his own does have an ontological similarity as that of Vedic ontology. Keeping in mind that there was an interest in discourse and dialogue between the two cultures, can there be a comparison between the two similar ontologies? I would really appreciate if you could address this shift in western discourse outside the realm of the subject and object notion of viewing the world. Thank you!
