The way they speak, the words they use, the tang of Kashmiri in their accent is so familiar. It's my language.These people feel like family even through the phone screen. Being a Kashmiri Pandit,or say, Refugee in my own country, or say, Scape goat to my Govt. , I have always hoped that someday we would go back to our homeland, Kashmir. Infact each and every Kashmiri Pandit still have hopes to go back to their roots. My Grandfather who is in his 80’s still wants to live in his homeland. Tears flow down in his eyes whenever he thinks about his homeland. That pain, that sufferings which every KP feels in their hearts will never be understood by the Govt. of India. They will do nothing for us unless and until something worse happened in front of them, after then they come up with so called lollipops so that we can forget what happened to us. I am also an employee, working there for about 7 months, I think we KPs are fools who got trapped by UPA’s lollipop of Rehabilitation Package of 2010 and now NDA Govt. is playing with us. Are we not human beings? Are we not peaceful community? Are we not Nationalists? Are we not deserve to live in our homes like everyone does? People got to know about us in 2022 , after 32 years. This is so called 21st century. Murderers of our community are freely enjoying there and the sufferers are still suffering their killings. We were never a Coward community, Cowards are those who have not being informed or searched about our genocide, Cowards are those who did nothing at the time of our genocide, cowards are those who still believe that Kashmir is theirs only. Kashmir is the part of India, a part of every Kashmiri Pandit.

I studied in Kashmir Valley but am a Dogra from Jammu and also studied Kashmir and her people. All genuine Kashmiri Muslims are converts to Islam (a good Semitic religion) from Kashmiri Hindus, though of all castes. The genuine Pandits and genuine converts from Pandits to Islam have sharper features. Hence most Kashmiri Muslims have a very strong bond with their Pandit brethren; this is the solid path to peace. Kashmiris resemble most with the Tajik people. Francois Bernier (1625 - 1688 A.D.), French physician and traveler, when he arrived in Kashmir describes the Kashmiris thus, ”The people of Kachemire (Kashmir) are proverbial for their clear complexions and fine forms. They are, as well made as Europeans, and their faces have neither the Tartar flat nose nor the small pig-eyes that distinguish the natives of Kacheguer (Kashgar), and which generally mark those of Great Tibet.”

The ache that our kashmiri pandiths have gone through is quite comprehendable. I being a Kashmiri Muslim openly proclaim that those who are responsible for their miseries must be punished for their wrong doings. Be it a Kashmiri terrorist or a pakistani terrorist . The word unknown they are using after killing an innocent Kashmiri pandit should be located and sentenced to death. In Islam, Killing of a single human being is like killing of the whole humanity. I know their houses were incinerated and their belongings were robbed by some locals. I am not scared of anything. They were compelled to sell their land at the lowest value. It ix a mere injustice. Justice needed.

There is, to my humble thought, just one solution to Pandit problem: snatch out a separate state within the valley in lieu of their scattered land all through the state. All the Pandits will have to be vocal like Shushil Pandit, Lalit Ambardar and a few others.

During 90's era Militancy,ikhwan and Armies were there at peak operation,,,and they all killed kashmiris and spread terror,,,, Armies raped,killed people ( kunan poshpora case was reported) and militants killed Armies and Also civilians.....The ikhwans were those who killed civilians and took their money....My father and grandfather have beared this,,,, I was liitle and according to my father u were once upon a time saved from bullet😢😢... After all the governer of Kashmir appointed by India took Kashmiri hindus outside from kashmir for POLITICAL GAINS..... And then we lost our hindu brothers.... After that Many civilians were killed ( only in my villagd there are 2 of 5 who have lost somebody)😢😢 That is the kashmir,,,bloody kashmir

as a kashmiri muslim I feel very bad for our pandits. But our narrative is that the killings were not religious but political in nature for example the killing of neelkanth kanjoo, he was the same person who sentenced Shaheed Maqbool bhat .Yes there were some miscreants who killed innocents as well but the majority who were killed had some connections with the govt agencies and also some temples in islamabad district were used by the raw and other agencies hence they were targeted.Had it been an issue of religious fanaticism then our sikh brothers would also have been killed but no they were not on the other hand the indian army killed at least 36 sikhs from one single village chattisinghpora. Also our modern freedom fighters like burhan wani and zakir musa also welcomed pandit brothers and even promised their security but it was the pandits who denied it. What we want for them is to return to your own land and live with us and face everything with us and be loyal to kashmir
