Nope! He couldn't even qualify for the olympic and was one of the worst performing Indian shooter for asian championship. So guess he turned out to be a complete failure with all the hype around him.

The present hype being created around Olympics is FAKE as is with any other program with this government the issue has been made into an hyperbole, a photo opportunity and an event without any realistic assesment of our chances . The participation of 127 strong contingent is being shown as some sort of success but in reality only a few of participants have realistic chance to finish on podium and they are not even 15 athletes this is list : Weightlifting : 1, Shooting :2, Archery :1, Badminton : 1, Boxing : 3, Wrestling: 3 Outside chances : Table tennis: 1 Men's Hockey Team Track & Field :1( Javalin, Men) Men team archery Rest all including Rowers, sailors, Track & Field , Judokas etc will be called successfull if they finish in Top 8 ranking including Hockey teams. As usual the hype is not backed up by any planning or quest for medal it's just a show case on how much we spent money to provide world class training but we faltered in selection of officials and Bad Selections : 1. Boxer Vikas Krishnan competed with an injury to his arm and could only fight with 1arm, now did the team did not know he was carrying injury and why and how he ended up on Tokyo. 2. The equipment : Manu Bakars Pistol getting jammed and it proves how substandard equipment are , she lost precious time as her coach could not anticipate and kept spares outside arena. ..really..3. Monika Batras personal coach was not acredited and recognised he travelled on his own and cannot help her 4. Vinesh poghat on absence of her Physio and coach Indian team may be only team where coaches and physio who worked with athletes are not allowed to participate with their wards instead the federations put their favourite to travel.. 5. Fake world number. 1 ranking when none of these number 1rancked players could finish in Top 8. 6. After all this spending we have created a pool of not even 10 players who have realistic chance of Podium finish 7. Still there is no acredited sports psychologist accompanying the team when it is know that our athletes have tendency to choke and loose confidence or are pressurised under tremendous HYPE 8. There is no planning on how to play in qualifications for example Korean team has been biggest obstacle but the archers took qualification so casually that they met Koreans in Round of 32 or QF had they been ranked high in qualification they would have avoided Koreans till SF or met them in finals It would be miracle if we get even 5-10 medals.

Saurabh is one step above shooter than any other Indian shooter. He was unlucky in final n did not got support from Manu in mixed team event. His scores were outstanding.

In 9th grade, we went on a camp in school, there were many activities include shooting a bottle, there were 2 3 groups of 30 40 students in each group, in my group i was the only one who shot that bottle..at that time i was thinking to choose a profession where there will be shooting, i was so naive that i could only think about army or police to use my skills lol Now I'm a grown a$$..what a waste
