this was the best recording I have ever seen.. It was so clear and on time even at night. I felt if I was really at the Maryland international raceway. I didn't get to see any events this year at all with my brother. now I can say I did... great job...

Just saw KZbin video AWSOME! I work for (PHX) Precision Hitech Xtreme, the designer & fabricator of the hat. Phoenix was at Spikes shop today and saw your video. I just now watched it too. Was nice to see the hat & fuel injection system at work. BEAUTIFUL car!! congrats on the race! We're hoping for 3.98 or less in the near future :)

@ scott c 10.5 is max width allowed in class

Unpredictable as can be. I don't even race and I can tell which car wins just by the burnout and looks in today's age. Back then, I'd guess correctly probably 35% less

Yes and tell us about your 4000 hp car on 10.5s. Which at speed only have 5-6 inches on the ground. 1/4 is boring
@jathantucker299610 жыл бұрын
The tires are not true 10.5's. They are 10.5w's which is a little over 11 inches.

what does the 10.5 mean ?
@BigMuddyCountry10 жыл бұрын
refers to the width of the tires. You can only use 10.5 inch wide drag radials with the class. Very narrow tires for the power they are making especially when you consider the pro stock cars in drag racing use 18.5 inch wide tires and they sometimes break the tires loose with only 1000 or 2000hp more.

Waylon Richardson" only 1000 or 2000hp more " LOL that's a GIGANTIC difference in the world of drag racing lol only
@Hellion9410 жыл бұрын
Waylon Richardson Pro Stock cars actually don't make anywhere near the power most competitive Outlaw 10.5 cars do. A twin turbo, big block Outlaw 10.5 car can make in excess of 3,000hp, whereas Pro Stock cars make about 1,200-1,300. However they are much lighter. Also, Outlaw 10.5 uses 10.5W slicks, which are about 12" in tread width.
@GoodeRacing33010 жыл бұрын
pro stock cars have enough money spent on them they can go faster than heard of with low horsepower, its all technology
@BigMuddyCountry10 жыл бұрын
I thought the pro stocks made more than that.

A waste of a nice 1/4mile track, running ONLY 1/8th mile.... Dragracing has changed dramatically over the last 15 plus years & it's been for the worse!!!!! People race 1/8th mile @ 1/4mile tracks ....just screw the fans we don't count.
@j.asecosbn843710 жыл бұрын
Its beacuse of the money and some say that the engines starts to melt before the 1/4 mark... But I dunno
@telsport10 жыл бұрын
You get 78% of your speed in the 1/8. Engines cost more...1/8 saves a lot on wear and tear. Most grandstands don't go past the 1/8 mile except at big tracks so fans get to see the entire race instead of two disappearing dots. The main plus about quarter mile was that racers could shift through and enjoy the second eighth as a cruise..more or less. Speeds were too high to stop the fastest cars safely if anything went amiss ..and most tracks were built as long as they could be for the grounds property line...per National Trail at Columbus.... Gotta admit, though...MIR looks plenty long for just about anything...so..Zironi Miller...you have a valid gripe about this one. Maybe these racers WANTED eighth mile.
@mrolskul10 жыл бұрын
J. Asecosbn Engines don't melt past 1/8 of a mile, and if they do, they werern't set up properly, don't believe everything you hear others say. I personally prefer 1/4 mile races. There are Russians who run exotic cars for a mile and provide you with not only the usual reaction, 60 feet & 1/4 mile times, but also the elapsed times and trap speed when they reach the full mile (see the DragstimesInfo KZbin channel). It would be nice to see some of these cars run over there against exotics.

alot of these cars are to fast for the 1/4 mile depending on shut down length
