You had to save your pennies or be rich kid to even think of buying one. My wealthy neighbor had one. He would let us kids play it but he had mainly golf and sports games. In the local arcade I played Metal Slug while my friends liked their fighting games.

Great top 25 list!! I especially like how you represent the action platforners that are rare on this console. However I would had ranked Windjammers at 25 & Real Bout Fatal Fury Special at 24. And Metal Slug 3 is my personal all-time favorite but Garou is a gareat choice too! Fun fact: I was playing a port of Garou on my PS4 just last night. :)

Ehhh some really good games were left off this list. Aero Fighters 3 Baseball Stars 2 Super 2020 Baseball Strikers 1945 Plus Sam Sho 4 Sengoku 2 KoF 2002 Magical Drop 2 or 3 Prehistoric Isle 2 Not a bad list though.

Good games! Windjammers was so cool, they have a new version out but its no where near as good as the old, Love the neogeo, when I've finished building my Capcom Big Blue Arcade cab I will be making a Dedicated red NeoGeo cab which my MVS 6 slot will be in.

Good selection although I would swap in Sengoku 2 for Sengoku 3 and found a spot in the lower slots for Neo Driftout. Oh and Twinkle Star Sprites has to be included somewhere. EDIT 8 months later: Magician Lord and Last Resort are would have been very worthy pick up. And maybe Art of Fighting 3 over 2. In short Neo Geo is loaded with great games.

Yes we do!! The Capcom vs SNK series was way more superior to the marvel vs Capcom series. I personally want to see another SNK vs Capcom chaos game, the one produced by SNK playmore. I loved the dark style they added to the game

SNK vs Capcom Chaos should of been #1. Don't get me wrong, Garou mark of the wolves is a good game, a very good game but SNK vs Capcom chaos was better in every way. 2 fighting game staples that defined fighting games duke it out.

La Neo Geo fue, sin lugar a dudas, la mejor videoconsola de su generación, con un hardware a la altura de su catálogo, todo conversiones de recreativas súper divertidas. Lo más parecido, hoy en día, sería montarse algo con una APU potentilla, como el Ryzen 5800U (refrigerado con un Noctua de perfil bajo), 16 Gb DDR4 para no quedarse cortos (pero tampoco pasarse), un SSD nVME M.2 250Gb (para sistema operativo y emuladores), 8Tb en un Seagate IronWolf (para ROM´s e ISO´s a saco), todo montado sobre una placa mini-ITX, una fuente de marca medio decente de unos 200 W (vas sobrado, por lo que el ventilador apenas será necesario y evitas ruido) y, metido en una caja compacta y elegante para colocarla, como si de una consola se tratase, en el salón: ya tienes equipo para disfrutar de juegos de arcades más actuales (y, por supuesto, TODO lo que se te ocurra más "viejuno")..., si sacasen algo así, con licencia de juegos de recreativas basadas en hardware x86-64 y Windows (vamos, los que se ejecutan con TeknoParrot), podría tener cierto éxito de ventas...
