I think the noise canceling sr198 mic sounds better then the stock I’m more of a fan of the RK56 but that’s all personal preference as a driver in a truck with straight pipes a noise canceling mic is a must lol

Yea I get it. Mic choice is going to come down to personal preference most of the time.

@@TheRadioGarageagreed it’s all preference and application I think the astatic 636 noise cancellation is a bit better then the rk56 which is my opinion but I like the 56 how it feels in the hand but like I said that’s all opinions and preferences

Got a love how some people only tune a ssb radio to only work on AM and then didn’t even finish that tune either Joe should be happy with that rig now that the tune is completed
