Ape Escape 3 - Part 1

Playing as Yumi.
Why? Because: 1) The game is slightly easier as some monkeys will be too busy liking Yumi. 2) If an uploader (rather, KZbinr, but applies to any video) is playing a game the choice of a male or female main character, that person will be playing with a male (that is why I ALWAYS play as a female protagonist on ANY game). 3) I ♥ pigtails.
Covers the beginning to the Monkey Pink fight.
At the beginning, I use a "code" to unlock the secret monkeys. They are required to get the best ending I believe.
For all the stages, I just meet the minimum requirement to complete the stage. I need certain gadgets to even get 100% for a stage. Plus, all stages have 4 more monkeys that requires the Super Monkey Morph Gear. No need to go into a stage a third time to get them.

I'm so glad that someone did a gameplay with Yumi. I understand somewhat why nobody wants to be Yumi so they chose Kei instead, but it was really interesting playing as Yumi since you get some small things added or changed when it comes to playing as her. I recommend (this is my opinion so haters chill), that if you are new to Ape Escape, play as Yumi since she is kinda like the easy mode or if you wanna play as a girl for those who wanted a female protagonist in the Ape Escape games.

i prefer natalie's voice to be dubbed by the same voice actor as misty's american voice actor. It just somehow fits so much better with her kind of character/appearance. And I couldn't help but laugh my ass of when the camera shows Spike, Jimmy, and the Professor zoned out xD

Yoshida brought back the original team to Japan Studio last year. With scouting new/more talents and building/expanding teams within Japan Studio, something is cooking over there. Ape Escape can return if Wild Arms returns. Allan Becker loves these art house type games and he wants JS to continue making them with more effort. Among their projects, there is a high budget jrpg produced in-house, their second attempt; third person, uncommon art style, and kinda cinematic.

It's not required to transform; transforming is optional when it comes to actually catching the monkey in your reach. Transforming is only required in some portions of the game to gain access to certain monkeys and areas. Spike was personally my favorite ape catcher though, too bad he isn't playable in the third installment. That would have been awesome lol.

I think its very sweet of you not capturing one of the marrying couple when you have 1 left to capture before the level ends, that way the 2 don't have to be in separation waiting for the other to be captured in the final run section of the game to be together again.

my list of morphs (my own opinion) from least (ones I don't like) to greatest (ones I like the most) (all together there are 7): 7: fantasy knight (I don't like magic) 6: dragon kung Fu fighter (I don't like dragons, the fire powers are neat but I really don't like dragons no not one bit) 5: genie dancer (I love music and dancing but I detest genies, I don't like them a lot) 4: the monkey (its okay, not my top favorite but it isn't bad) 3: wild west kid (its pretty neat and it reminds me of one of my favorite movies: back to the future 3 (in my opinion the best movie in the trinity)) 2: miracle ninja (ninja power! TMNT fan, ninja HEHEHE! X3) 1: cyber ace/princess ace (this morph is totally awesome! electro powers, awesome mid-air dashes, this form is the coolest)

Honestly idk why Sony remastered Ape Escape 2 for PS4 but not 3 :( When I was a kid I had a PSP and PS2 and had the Ape Escape 1 remaster on PSP and Ape Escape 3 on PS2. Idk why I Never had the 2nd one. So playing the 2nd on PS4 sadly gives me no nostalgia. I really wish Ape Escape 1 PSP remaster and Ape Escape 3 was put on PS4
