32 years ago I was in your position. Joined the family real estate business and I also not a people person, but I managed to push that aside and do my very best at the job. Fast forward to now, my dad and I have retired from the business this year. He is 84 and I am 62. We still work together to repair and remodel our rentals. I wouldn't want to work with anyone else. Good luck and I hope you find it as rewarding as I have.
