I disagree with your statement about healthcare in America versus Thailand. One or two hospitals does not speaks for all. Hospitals prioritize patients lives, treating individuals without insurance and seeking reimbursement later. Furthermore, many hospitals have reserve funds to support those in need, those with no insurance. There are also government programs provide assistance to low-income households. In Thailand, however, some hospitals may refuse patients lacking insurance or funds. Some even kick out their patients. Having grown up and lived in Thailand, now reside in America, work at the hospital, and having family in Thailand, I can confidently say that your experience does not represent the entirety of healthcare in either country. 😅 Good analyst though. Good episode too.
