That Temple Is Near My Home Town In Kerala Its In Alleppey District, There is an Old Woman who is considered as the "Amma" (Mother) of those snakes she in every year on a particular day does a ritual where she holds that Naga Deity Statue and walks around the temple and Small Serpants (Sarpa) will follow her without causing any harm. I'm from Pakistan. There is an historical city called Taxila here. When I went to visit it I saw on the board which was about the history of the city, that the name Taxila came from ' Taka Shala ' or something like that. Which means ' hills of snakes '. There was written myths and folklore which were famous in that area. Stating that once In Taxila lived tribes of snakes who were like humonoide reptilian beings. There were battles there between the humans and reptilian beings. There is a museum as well and in it I saw at least one artefact depicting serpent which was discovered there. This is so true ! My grandmother used to kill snakes in and it is said that if you kill snakes your blood line will not continue. She had 5 kids including my father . 3 daughters and 2 sons 2 buas and my uncle never had children. One bua had 2 daughters My father had only me and it was not an easy pregnancy for my mom . They had to donate snake made out of gold in a temple . So basically 5 kids had only 3 kids in total and all 3 girls . ( it doesn’t matter to us but you know how older generation thinks that only a boy can take a family’s bloodline forward )
@saharnouri81107 ай бұрын
But that’s not true. 3 daughters can build a nation. It’s very old and not scientific view to think daughters can’t give the bloodline to the next generation. Jews for example say that in order for you to be a Jews your mother must be a Jew. 50% of your DNA is your mothers DNA. So it can’t be true that killing the snakes will kill your blood line.

In Nagaland, there are intriguing stories where individuals are spiritually connected to snakes, to the extent that if the snake perishes, so does the person. Similarly, there are tales of people transforming into tigers. Nagas trace their origins to the ocean, reflected in their adornments adorned with seashells. Tribes like Angami, Sumi, AO, Pochuri, and Chakhasang, konyak etc hold beliefs in a precious gem atop a snake's head, said to grant luck to those fortunate enough to discover it, enabling them to seek anything they desire.

I'm a Catholic and I had my apparition experience when i was 8-10 yrs old of Mother Mary. It was very surreal and unforgettable experience. But what's odd is that this yr, I have a dream of Hindu Gods. I saw a pink elephant and other color elephant they put their trunks up but they have more like humanoid face and that scared me then the beautiful white elephant came i think Ganesha, so basically the white elephant dancing around and adorned with golds from ankles, a piece of necklace dangling onto the head, henna tattoos some parts of his body then there was a God/Goddess, idk who they are but they look like twins. The only difference is that the other God was covered in blue color and the other is pink. (Anyone knew who this god/Goddes in my dream?) It hit me and made me realize that there are multiple God/Goddesses of this world. Each God/Goddess have their own task to do. For example: God of Mother nature is a destruction but is a form God. Humans cannot stop tsunamis, they cnnot stop earthquake from happening.

God and Nature are same. unmanifest sate or god the source/cause and manifest state of god nature/effect. we cannot worship the source directly so we have no option but to worship god through matter. when we worship idol we dotn worship the matter we worship the god right now is matter. just like when we talk to a phone we don't talk to a phone we talk to the person through the phone. only a fool like anti-idol worshippers will think that we talk to a dead phone. just like they foolishly think we worship idol. god is energy so everything is made up of energy/god so only god exists truelt noting else. Hinduism is very logical and scientific you cannot believe it you have to understand it through logic.

Mother nature ( parvati ) is impressed with you. That is the reason you see her son ganesha. It is quite tough to get ganesha's blessings, as he watches over intentions.... If intentions are pure, you have his blessings. You are really something......

When I was younger, I was swimming in our pool and as I turned around I saw a black baby snake over my left shoulder, I got very scared like I was having a heart attack, I ran out of the pool and grabed the pool skimmer collected the snake through it on the grass and killed it 😢

Please help me here. Snakes have been crossing my path since I have been a child. When I was 7-8 years old, I literally stepped on a baby snake. When I was about 14 years old, while I was cycling, a snake just passed between the wheels of the cycle. Then, when I was about 16 years old, one eveing, a cobra was sitting next to me and my uncle were chatting outside his home. However, in the past 1 year I have been seing snakes every 3-4 months, usually when I am walking

In villages pythons try to catch chicken etc and also kids They feel no guilt in killing them Sometimes common krait snakes enter the houses at night and climb up on sleeping people and suddenly bite them Cobras tend to avoid humans but people kill them out of fear

I came back to this video to tell an instance, it happened in my ancestral village. They had this well in the main area of the village near a banyan tree. A vaishya family wanted to cover it up and make a shop there, when they put a lid on the top of the well everything in their family started going downhill. One night, the man of the house had a dream in which nagas came and told him that they have been living in the well for hundreds of years and actually they were a couple. The man showed repentance and removed the lid of the well. He was told my pandit ji to give silver naag naagin joda in tawi. He to please the naag naagin in the well also made a huge temple beside it. Till this day i only pray from outside the temple and never went in as i am too scared.😂

Question regarding snakes... I grew up being taught to kill snakes close to the house, have blood on my hands. Do not kill them any more, now we catch them and relocate. Always have respect for them now.. How can I help cleanse my actions of the past now concerning the snakes? thanks and blessings

A long time ago I had a dream that I am in a temple full of snakes and the priest is asking me to bow my head and to not be scared. He then proceeded to hand me over one of snakes and asked me hold it without being scared but the moment I held it I flinced and he bit me. But nothing happened except a simple wound. That dream was intriguing.

Our culture in Dakshina Kannada (South Canara) in Karnataka also worship Nagas and it has been part of our culture from eons. From the poor to the rich revere them and have specific places of worship. Kukke Subramanya and Kudupu are the famous temples for Naga Devatha worship.

That is the reason we Bangalis worship Maa Monosha 🙏🏻. In "Monoshamongol" it was described that maa monosha was the daughter of Lord Shiva. If angered maa monosha can destroy everything that a person holds dear or if she is worshiped properly with absolute devtion, as Rajorshi sir said, Maa can uplift a person in every possible way. These lores and stories that old people still tells are not at all lies.

Im Turkish from Turkey. When i was new born to two years of age ny father was a shepherd and wouldnt come home for days. A long large black snak was in love with my mother and this snake would always crawl in her bed and wake up with her in the morning. She even got used to it but was worried for my safety. Nobody believed her because the snake would always hide when people were around. One day my grandmother goes to a priest and gets some holy water and sprinkles around the house snd the garden. The snake then shows itself to my father and my father kills it. It was so large it filled a big hay bag.
