One thing which I've noticed over the years seeing different "comedic" actors (like Rajpal Yadav, Johny lever etc.) is that they can kill it even in serious characters. It's like they are the best ones and deserve the actual stardom but unfortunately Bollywood (especially in the 90's) rather than recognising their talent to perform any character have typecasted them to just comedy and it is like a disrespect to their talent. No wonder many of these actors have come from NSD and struggled for years but at the end only a single dimension of their talent is utilized! I'm happy that things are changing (though slightly) now.
