Well one of the reasons that raps are popular in slums is that people here are stuck in the vicious cycle of survival. Their whole life is centred on the struggle of maintaining the 'supply of bread' and its continuum. Music is therefore a companion of well off backgrounds, true music or the pure music which happens to be classical music more often never happens here since it can only appear from anahata or atleast swadhishthana, energy centres above muladhara. People here in slum lives at muladhara, the basic energy centre, their level of consciousness is limited to the survival instinct as I mentioned above. Undoubtedly rap includes some sort of creativity which means people are looking beyond their instincts and compulsions, they are able to look within themselves in some way and reach to their creative voices unlike others who are just focused on outside world in order to fetch the basic bread or shelter, they have no time or perhaps the chain of compulsions that they are stuck in never allows them to look inside their innate capabilities or voices that may bring some serenity or satisfaction in life around them. Rap is art ofcourse but rap becoming the centre of music and artistic culture is threat to whole humanity as people who are potent to explore music to its depth will shift to this rap culture looking at the scope and popularity of rap which won't lead to meditation at all infact will becomes a reason of fatigue and stress. And the ancient art in music which is an outcome of intense tapas and hard work of generations will take a back seat then. People who are capable in terms of their sensitivity and understanding towards music should learn everything such as alankaars, thaps, taals, ras etc. which further will help people inculcate stillness in their life. The participation in music with absolute involvement will defy all psychological atrocities happening across globe and one more point is it will diminish the walls of consumerisms (extracting the best out of life by less expenditure of resources). Today just to feel peaceful or happy for some moments people invest lot of bucks, time and energy and hilariously they never achieve that optimum peace and joy ever. Rap is more of a noise and can be held responsible for noise pollution at times as it comprises high pitched sounds not the serene sounds that could soothe a soul. We need to be wise with the application of music with respect to demography and social conditions. Plus the words or lyrics need to be well orchestrated in order to avoid corruption in the literature, vulgar terms are cheap way grabbing attention. Some raps are exceptionally good at this, their rich lyrical confluence with catchy melodious rhythm is worth to be applauded.

i will give u in short: he was born in tadiwala road - his mom used to clean people's homes for money (i dont know what his dad did at the time) - he went to a trash/violent school in the slum - left that school in 6th standard - his brother introduced him to rap - he went to another school failed 9th standard probably because of the murders and lack of education - his dad kicked him out around the same time - at the time his name became known in underground rap - he released some songs - as he grew up he got involved in street shit (robbery, half murders) - he had many cases of 326 and 307 - he was in and out police stations and courts all the time - in 2018, he released khuja mat that got him a lot of hate - his name got bigger and people wanted to murder him more - he did 307 (half murder), some 326 cases, one 302 false case - all these events (and more) led to him being tadipaar from pune - he went to ambarnath to a friend because no one was with him and people even went to murder him all the way to ambarnath - he somehow managed to settle in mumbai - he released astaghfirulla - people started liking him - he got trapped in a case in pune - then about a year later of being tadipaar he released the album - he was still attacked often and was still involved in gangshit - then biggboss happened. thats the vague journey of that man but theres ofcourse alot more to it and i just connected dots so im not sure if this is 100% correct. Lets just say he was too much into gangshit and violence and got tadipaar from pune then settled in mumbai and became a legend
