Using a metronome while writing will help you do exactly this as far as knowing when to come in and give space

Thank u. I'm gonna try it. Sounds like it could be a huge deal breaker for someone writing with it.

this is insane bro just this peice of knowldge has changed the game for me but the one thing i need a vid on his how to make chorus like drake because he is a master t them and then how to put the chorus into the song whilst applying these tactics in this vid so the overall structure because people an write a song a day after figuring out and following the same blue print and i want in. great vid bro much love.

ayo, this literally what I do when I hear other artists use a specific flow and/or timin and I wanna try my hand at usin the same flow and/or timin. I count the beats out loud for they whole verse, while playin it and recordin myself in my DAW, then I just go back and play the beginnin part uva specific flow and/or timin to figure out what beat it’s started on, followed by each sentence and/or line/bar w in a specific flow and/or timin to figure out how long each line/bar is and on what beat each of em’ end on and wrap it all up by playin the endin part uva specific flow and/or timin to find out what beat it’s ended on.

I really appreciate you speaking on this. Especially the Uzi reference at the end. Uzi creates a lot of contrast in his music by changing his pitch mid bar or sometime every other bar. He does it well on "Top" too. He goes very low to very high and I swear it grabbed my damn ear and never let go. I been rocking with his music ever since. Kendrick lamar is a master at this as well. He even does it in his ad libs

I’m shaking the press, no time to dissect. Photographs flashing the things we forget. It’s like once you finally reach the title you expect. Somebody’s gotta put a price on your head to collect. Here in the mile high we’re miles in difference. Taking a couple instances on my appearance, that never should’ve arose, who’s givin out clearance Cause clearly only lord knows who’s stuck in adherence. Here in the mile high you’re miles away. Beneath me as much as it’s literally same is it’s name. I sit on top of the world to collect and connect. And understand all the risks that come with the fame. It’s useless reaching me here at the top of the globe Where the only thing i see is your actions unfold And actions causing reactions that end up untold I’ve been a mile high the whole time you felt you were close. Can you do a video about understanding bars, reasoning behind it and when do you come in on a beat?
@jordandowd89113 жыл бұрын
There's rly no wrong way on when to come in on a beat. That's why music is so dope. There rly aren't rules. I wouldn't think to much on that part as long as u aint hopin on a track with some blueface all off beat n shit lol I guarantee you'll be good. Idk why or how it started but producers make beats in bars so I think we just write accordingly. I could be wrong on that one but there's definitely some psychology goin on to understand how to grab the listeners attention
