If you are done with Slipknot for now, and seem to like BMTH, you should really check out Sikence Speaks, by While She Sleeps. Olie does guest vocals, and they always have a strong message in their lyrics

I love this band and the singer in particular. It's obvious his music comes from his own life's experiences and when he sings he is so passionate like his living in the song. I went to see them recently and it was the first thing I enjoyed in 2 years. He got us all involved in a particular verse of a song and a few tears came into my eyes. He said if anyone resonates with this verse to sing along. It goes like this. IM SCARED TO GET CLOSE BUT I HATE BEEN ALONE, I LONG FOR A FEELING TO NOT FEEL AT ALL. THE HIGHER I GET THE LOWER I SINK. I CANT DROWN MY DEMONS AS THEY KNOW HOW TO SWIM. powerful stuff

Excited for this one! Bring me have played a massive part in helping me with my mental health over the past 10 years. I felt so directionless and outcast but they helped me find a purpose and things to look forward to. Will always be forever grateful for them 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I think I remember Ollie saying something like this song was his take on the similarities of a cult and marriage like loving someone unconditionally. Would make sense with his themes on 'Amo'. Always fun to dig into BMTH.

BMTH has resonated with me since i heard sleepwalking from the sempiternal album it described exatly what i was going through when i was addicted to ketamine. I was also listening to can you feel my heart, true friends (which relateted to the reasons for my suicide) (and plain sailing weather by frank turner) on repeat when i killed myself. ( i did actually die but lucky my mam came home from work early and found me) Iv never spoke to anyone about it and only 3 people outside of the paramedics and hospital know. I think what you do is amazing. Breaking songs down and discussing mental health issues and trying to remove the stigma. It took time but i am now greatful mam found me. And i hope that through you chanel people reach out and seak help. No one should ever feel like the only way out is to kill themselfs.

So I first heard this song a few years back and listened to it quite a few times before actually watching the music video. Without seeing the video I thought that the entire song was actually about therapy and one's own journey to self discovery with mental health and how we keep channeling the same negative thoughts over and over again. Even the first verse I thought was about a therapist coming to the realisation that they could heal their own pain by giving them a purpose and place in the world whilst gaining a better understanding of their own mind by tapping into the minds of their patients. The chorus to me speaks to have we have these "Eureka" moments when we bring things to the surface and suddenly understand our thought processes. However they piss us off because we now realise we actually have to deal with them now we've brought them to the surface. It's such a double edged sword because we initially feel good that we've unlocked something inside of us, but then that quickly turns negative when we realise that this sudden clarity has only brought us more pain that we now have to work through. The second chorus clearly has links to hypnotherapy when they ask their patient to imagine they're on a beach with the water gently lapping at their feet. They get them to open up but unfortunately then have to cut them off because the session is over. Even the "ka-ching" sound could be a subtle dig at the supposed narrative that therapists are only in it for the money.

I think you'd be interested in interpreting Avenged Sevenfold songs about losing their friend and previous band member the Rev. There are several songs, save me So far away I won't see you tonight part 1 & 2 My personal favorite of the four is I won't see you tonight part 1

It never ends. Or dont go. PLEASE 🙏 react to that. See if you can see what these are about. Its alot heavier so may need the lyrics. But i love these song and the album, There is a hell, believe me I've seen it, there is a heaven lets keep it a secret. So much more passion and emotion in his voice Ive struggled with my mental health for my entire adult life. But I've learned to self therapise myself. I git vwey lost and my PTSD and depression hit my like a ton of bricks, and tried therapy again, andbin alk honesty, its akeays made it worse. Or ive had bad theapists. 1 insisted in just sitting there like a cold fish, while just repeating, and how does that make you feel. Wgile i was sat crying my heart out. Ike wtf. How do you think it makes me feel. Then the 1 i jad most recently insisted group therapy for trauma would ve helpful. Even though i told her i struggled to soeak out loud about my trauma, every week it was tourcher. Being triggered by other women's experiences. And went home way worse than i started. But religion to me is like you said. People hanging onto their faith thinking its fixing everything. I mean if it truly work's, giid for them. But religion is jot the answer. And i. Ky experience is the worst place to be. GrEAt reaction as always. But fir anyone whis watching. Dont take what I've said as advice. If therapy works for you, fantastic. Not everyone's experience is the same. Wirth a try always. Bit don't expect them to fix your life for you. Thays not what they do ❤❤

I am a devout Christian after losing my life, both physically, then spiritually, and being saved. I too have always been such a fan of BMTH's music, I pray for all like him who need to find the plot to God. They surely aren't like many metal devil worshipping bands..that's right. He seems a good person. ... every interview. He's like Chris Motionless from Motionless In White. Offstage, they're totally with it, cool, respectful, goof-off dudes. That's what's important!
