I've joked about my sudden supersonic hearing since January of this year but yes this is exactly what happens... The world is so LOUD and I've noticed its like telling me to get out of something. I literally moved in July because of a smoke alarm chirping in my dreams (not IRL) and it was right on time to help my family. But this is just a temporary housing situation so I can help them... I know I'll move again eventually and now it makes so much more sense why the noises get louder sometimes. Because it is much easier to HEAR the real calling somehow.
