I know the feeling Bro!! People thought I was crazy, continually asking about and trying to sing the melody to this song to them!!! 22 years went by and while at a friends house one night, they decided to pull out their "Quiet Storm" playlist and this was the FIRST SONG that played!!! After they were able to calm me down and stop my tears, they continued to play the song, clapping their hands knowing of my plight and finally finding a long lost friend.

Always loved this back in the early '80s. I remember being in a small town club in NE Ohio, and a local group performed this song. Those cuntry 'bamas didn't have a full band, and one of the vocalists whistled the synthesizer part. I thought, well I done heard it all now--except they sounded real smooth! Great grove, unusually strong lyrics that I appreciate more and more as the years pass. I think of my wife who we lost 2 years ago, and we lived every note and word of this song. Birth, Joy, Wonder, Renewal. Like this music, love is eternal.
