My goodness, Jeff... This was a nice long video of rat extermination, some big ones as well! You didn't give them a chance (not that they deserve one) - as soon as they fell into your crosshairs, it was "game over" for them! I really like how you don't hesitate and deliver messengers of death to those pesky rodents. I can see in the rat lodge, they have a picture of you as "public enemy number one" with the understanding that when they see you, RUN and HIDE. Obviously many have not gotten the message, much to our delight! Thank you so much for this example of how it's done. No question about it - the best rat shooting channel on this platform! 👍 (We see that you did end up bagging that one-eyed rat 4:07 after all 6:41 )

For those wondering how the animal can continue moving after the brain has been shot. It has to do with the complexity of the spinal cord and the relationship between the sodium and potassium pump that makes our muscles move and how the nerves function. Every time you move, your nerves send various ions (electricly charged elements) particularly potassium to the muscles which forces the muscles to exchange sodium ions as a result to maintain electrical balance, this imbalance however causes a muscular contraction. How long the contraction or motion is held for, what direction and what action the muscle makes are all directed via the brain and the brainstem. When that connection is suddenly severed, the nerves are simply responding to an influx of potassium ions into and out of various areas of the body that are erratic and uncontrolled due to lack of communication. As a result, the creature appears to twitch violently and erratically even though it is dead. These spasms can last for a few minutes or several hours, depending on the metabolism (rate at which it uses its available energy) of the creature.

Yes sir many of those rats made some really big mistakes 😁! The cat can only eat so many rats and your definitely making it easier for them. Just last night one of our outdoor kitties got himself a nice big rat and watched him chow down on that thing. He ate everything but the head and tail. But that's all he can handle a night is one. Sure glad we don't have the issue that farmer has. At least he has you and your abilities to help keep them under control. Looking forward to your next awesome session, they've been extra entertaining with some of those shots especially the ones that stood up for you so you would get the better shot, lol.

@waynedavis7245 Жыл бұрын
@@theratbuster yeah . Cats only eat maybe one rat a day . They only eat when they are hungry. They don't usually kill for fun . People still think cat's can control rat populations. Maybe in a house and only a few rat's. But that cat really seemed to enjoy that rat ! Lol. Atleast it didn't go to waste.
