The RCNetwork - Pro-Line 1973 Bronco Body

Here's a look at a new body from my SCX10. The 1973 Ford Bronco Body from Pro-Line is a great addition to make my scx10 look great! I also show a few scale accessories from Pro-Line. I used Tamiya Paints to paint this up with PS-3 for the Old Ford Blue and just a basic white for the top

There's so many details in painting. Precutting, washing, taping, marking body holes, painting, painting more, peeling tape, painting more, waiting for it to dry, stressing about peeling the plastic before laying decals! I guess I need instant gratification!

Thanks for the support! I'm not trying to get "big" I'm doing things I like and enjoy and that's modifying RC's. If I get big it's because of supporters like you, watching my vids and sharing ideas!

Thanks! I mounted the roof rack and got the bumpers mounted. Just gotta get the body mounts corrected and put some of the scale acc. on it.

You work so hard on your RC hobby and trying to get big, its a shame that you dont get as much as you try. Anyways man, very good video, big supporter of yours. Just got myself a new ford truck myself so ^^

Yep, drilled last night! measure twice! all was good, the little rubber washers help and I added that "Yakima" sticker to the aero portion of the roof rack. I should have a video of the finished product in the next couple of days. Just now installing the Jevne Racing battery plate

Yep, I did have to get creative. I should have the vid out by Monday detailing everything I did to make it work. I have had many people ask!

Im running the SCX Deadbolt with the WB at 12'' and it will not fit. Im runing 1.9 wheels and tires and the rear is touching the tires and it does not look to sit high enough to give the wheels space to go up and down

I had mine on the 12.3" Honcho SCX10. With a lift kit and 2.2" flat irons....it still rubbed a bit....

I had mine way jacked up upon install and had the same problem......I lowered it down two notches and all was good, but mine is the 12.3" chassis. I'm also running the MIP driveshafts.....I would back them off a bit. Also Check out RCCrawler's forums for the "scx10 2.2 Dingo" search. I'm sure other people are having similar issues

hey Rich...great and informative video. I have the scx10 dingo kit, great little rig I must say. Anyways, i was wanting to ask you how did you get your 2.2's to fit without them rubbing on the body? i have my body mounts on thelast hole possible and its still no where near high enough. when it comes to fabricating things, im not the best haha. would you mind telling me what you did to make everything fit?

Sorry, I skipped over the first part of the question.....Thanks for the compliment.....As for the clearance, I did install the Level3 RC lift kit for the SCX10. They kinda look like little tuning forks, $15 for 4 and all the hardware. I also had to trim a bit of the rear wheel well to get full clearance on the rear tires. Stay tuned for the rear body mount fix! Should be out on Monday or so

Thanks for the quick response. I too have the level3rc lift kit but when I installed it I had some shirking in the front and rear wheels when I was on the throttle. It seemed to be coming from my driveshaft being at too steep of an angle. As you know the dingo kit has the shorter wheelbase (11.4" I believe) so that may be why the shaft is at too steep of an angle. I'm fairly new to all this so any help is appreciated haha

I did the roof rack on the Rubicon body just have to go a head and drill!! and not think you may have got it wrong.The scale stuff you have will look great on there. I think cool box water can,fuel can,winch box and spade would look good.

The 73 Ford Bronco's wheel base was 92". Scaled down to 1/10 that's 9.2" or 233.7mm. This Proline body has a wheelbase of 305mm. That means this body is approximately 25% larger than scale. It looks nice, but it's nowhere close to scale.
