I fly my Proto N outside on calm days. It can zip along pretty quickly. In a few seconds it can climb to up around 100 ft. I then like to let it free fall until its close to the ground and then I flare the throttle. It'll easily rights itself and hovers.

Abby, you had NO problem catching the tiny quad -- and you were able to hit Nate several times. It was helpful for me that you demonstrated that it is very sensitive. Not a thing for a child or person without familiarity with RC controls -- or a user should expect that they will need a bit of practice.

I am curious if the motor shafts stick through the props like they do on the Proto-Z? I ask because (and this is a warning for everyone) it is easy to stick those little props on upside down. And if you don't realize you have done that to one of them you may spend the next several days wondering why your Proto is flying like it is possessed! You two are so entertaining! Here Nate is trying to be all serious and somehow keeps a straight face while Abby's Frog-N is slowly making its way across the table in front of him. (Of course I can't talk being I install my props on upside down...)

They don't stick through, like all the way or anything. Got a couple closer shots so hopefully you can see that in them, but if not these have like a rounded dome on the top of the prop... if that makes sense. Lol, been there and done that though! This looks really fun! Can you please review the FQ777-124! It's not as small as the Proto N, but it's another quad that can travel in the controller AND it can charge from the controller. It's also about $20 on Amazon (not sure about other sites) And how banged up is your ceiling? :)

those smaller ones are harder to orient Abby,no big deal. I like the cheerson ones. smaller isnt nessarly better but they are fun little buggers. I need to replace the one I got stuck in my wifes hair ( still havent gotten to that yet). we have plenty of snow here. I got the skiis done for my Apprentice. Mabe you could do a video on installing a set of skiis and flying an rc plane with them. i am still saving for my first 4 wheel rc truck. I dont expect to get that till spring. I think Proto X quadcopters have a really good refinement, and just stand out. I'm still saving up for my Proto X FPV, hopefully end of spring for my Bday. BTW I really enjoyed your review of under $90 fpv quadcopters. Kinda made me want to buy Proto X FPV even more. All of the other qc's just don't measure up I think in terms of features and fit'n'finish of Proto X FPV...my only complaint is it is quite pricey :)

Hey, cool review as always;) This time, here's some critics by me: 1. The Flureon FX10 has been available for some time now, it's the same quad basically, and it's the true "world smallest quad", even though it's just a different name 2. The flureon fx10 can also hold the quad inside the transmitter, so this one is not quite the first;) 3. The prize is okay, but the fx10, which is exactly the same quad, is 15$. It would be cool if you could include those cheaper options in your review. But still nice review of course. I've got the flureon fx10 myself, and it's a really awesome quad. 3rd mode is headless. Talking about charge option in the transmitter, I've got a nano quad (Syma) which has got a XBOX360 Style transmitter. This tx has got a USB output >cover!
