I have the 2018 pair and I definitely prefer these over those. The number one reason is because of the shape which is closer to the 88. I hate that “Fat Skater Shoe” shape the 3s used to have. I also prefer a more smoother black leather as opposed to the “Fake Tumble” they put on and people mistake for “Good Leather”…🙄😏 Definitely grabbing at least 2 pairs ✌🏾

The only problem I have with them is the elephant print on the front is too thick. The original pair in 88 had very thin elephant print in the front. These look closer the 2018 pair which looked horrible.

@justin5421 facts. I've never bought a pair of Jordan's with the sail sole. The sail just ruins an otherwise perfect shoe like the wc3's. Only pass they got where on the lost and found 1s cause they made other parts of the shoe look aged too, other than that, sail=fail

In this vid the 3 in you hand the print looks darker than every other 2024 release shown. The others looks almost like grey instead of black. The leather may be of quality but it looks faux. All the lesser cushion inside vs the 18 seems like we got cheated. I like a plush cushioned shoe. The red trim on the tongue would habe hit harder with outfits too. All in all its a 3 and we all will still purchase although disappointed.

The leather looks much better if it’s tumbled especially on black sneakers. They’ve also changed the cut which in my opinion is not good as well as reducing the padding around the ankle area. The elephant print is poorly executed compared to the 2018 pair. Expressing facts about poor execution of the sneakers is not negative but rather constructive criticism that everyone should be aware of. How can such a huge brand like Nike get this so wrong on an iconic sneaker design is just unforgivable!

The leather doesn't look as good. What I mean by that? It's not a tumbled as the 2018 release. It's not s bad thing. The only reason I think it should be tumbled because the mudguards look like elephant skin and tumbled leather just look better. Still going to buy 2 of them. ❤

The elephant print should be lower in the front and the front forefoot tongue area was larger in the 1988 OG. They didn't study properly. Not a deal breaker but don't call it OG. Call it a retro.

The leather was not nice on the 2018 that stuff is trash. Embossed tumbled leather is trash. I don’t even wear my joints because they’re garbage they look like sneaker boots. I had the OGs so these look way better. 2024’s are the closet pair I’ve seen to the OG. Just like the white cements. They just need to lower the elephant print and make the shape from tongue to toe box at a sharp angle that’s it.
