I feel that could also be a double meaning, in that he makes his music, exercising his creativity in 'making IT' his craft, but also 'making it' in terms of being big. This could reference back to his '...even if the 4th record doesn't sell a copy, amma do it like a hobby...' line. With or without making it big, he's still 'gotta make it'. COUPLE THINGS... First one being in that scheme where NF was talking about all of the things that were incomplete without their counterparts he was trying to say that he's the same without his bars... he's incomplete... that's why in the line he said "that's me if I ain't got the bars you see somethin ain't right think I'm incomplete" he's just saying that if he didn't have the bars he wouldn't be complete. Secondly has nothing to do with the reaction I've just noticed personally for some reason the volume on your voice when you're talking is super high and then whenever the music's on its really low and hard to hear. I think in Leave Me Alone he's not necessarily giving the balloons away but kinda sharing them.. In order to overcome heavy trust issues and actually let people in you have to open yourself up and in a sense share your burdens. In leave me alone I don't see it as a never giving up his burdens if you listen to the lyrics of the song he says "so I hold up my balloons and cover up my face I I can feel them weighing on me everyday" and he's referring to his balloons "wish I could let go and watch them float away quiet quiet quiet quiet quiet leave me alone" and I see this as NF wishing that he could give away his burdens but feeling that it's not something you should do because if you notice he looks around as if to see if anyone is looking at him because it isn't something that is "allowed". everyone else is stuck having to deal with a burden if you saw in the music video they went in holding their balloons wearing black and then they came out of the room throwing out all the black clothes and wearing white but NF ignores them and doesn't change there's even a booth where they wipe away their face paint that smile that and it has on his face and he isn't trying to deal with his emotions like everyone else he's trying to give it away and that I had to show how much more unstable he is By not seeking help.
