You are very right. I am against it totally, even for zoos. The only thing I think is ok is if an animal was on the way to going extinct then I think they should be saved by keeping some in a nature preserve. A nature preserve set up in their own area and habitat where they can be safe and cared for. I feel bad for these animals especially that alligator in that little enclosure. They should be in the wild. All of them should. Except maybe Pinky. Pinky Was supposed to be a house cat but went feral at some point.

One time, my wife had taken the kids to our pet store to get some things for our pets. They always looked at the animals while shopping. Well, Mom, saw a cage of mice, and one was climbing on the side of the cage. Mom said, "Oh, this one wants to be pet". She went to pet it, it bit her and drew blood ! The kids laughed. Mom did too. She was ok. And learned not to put her hands out where an animal she doesnt, at least - know well, first ! Lmao ! We still laugh about that one! I was on the edge to see what the animals would do but there were so many interruptions And snippets that I had to forward because I wanted to see what the animal would do. I have a beautiful and, for the most part, well behaved dog. She is very loving, but if you accidentally step on her tail she might give you a little nip. The great thing about dogs though is that when this happens there is very little chance you are going to die. That's why I have a dog instead of a bear.
