Paragraph person here! MAP stands for multi animator project, because a group of animators animate different parts for the video. This one specifically is an AU which stands for Alternate universe. In the books, Hawkfrost tries to kill Firestar with a fox trap, but Brambleclaw stops him by pulling the stake from the ground and... well, you get it. In this alternate universe, the stake had some sort of infection on it, which spread to Hawkfrost's body. The cat who followed him was dreaming, her name was Ivypool, who he was mentoring in the Dark forest. (Cat hell) The cat that gave her the rat was most likely Brokenstar. Im assuming the rat had the infection on it and gave the infection to Dovewing, Ivypool's sister. Dovewing then infected Ivypool by what i assume was touching or biting her. Then they come from the dark forest to infect Firestar, the cat who Hawkfrost attemted to kill with the fox trap. The cat climbing the rocks was Leafpool, Firestars daughter. The next orange cat was Squirrelflight, his other daughter. Their spirits then went to starclan. (Cat heaven) i edited this paragraph throughout watching the video, so sorry if I added way more parts after yall read it. :3

the place the cat was sent when they fell asleep is called the dark forest. the dark forest is basically cat hell in a way (also a place where cats can visit in dreams) while starclan is basically cat heaven (which can be visited in dreams or when making contact with the moonstone)

Most maps are made from the story line from the actual books, so you may not understand them. I will just say, in the beginning, the brown and white cat that got stabbed in the neck was actually a villan. Them he joined the "hell" and gathered other cats together and stuff to get revenge on/recruit other cats

Theres also a book series its great idk if you like reading or not but if you wanna continue watching some warriors maps id definitely recommend reading the first book into the wild its one of the best book introductions ive ever read since the main character is also new to the world. :3

just a btw, idk if you saw this in the video but MAP stands for multi-animator project. Dozens of animators put effort into making the video and that's why the style changes every few seconds! The credits were to individual animators and the videos were thumbnail submissions for the same animation!

Amv is animated music video, and it's typically done by one person. There is no set style for an amv. Hope this helps ^^

I’m pretty sure a MAP is a multi animator project (so it has multiple people in it), an AMV is usually fully animated, and a pmv is still imaged/slight tweening

Don’t know if you knew this, but warrior cats is a book series with over 200+ books! This is an AU (alternate universe) of what actually happened in the books. The person who made the map took an event from the books, turned it into an infection AU (like the mlp ones) and gathered a bunch of animators to animate each part of it! Usually if the title of the video says AU, you can assume something about the video won’t be accurate to the book events, settings, or characters. Usually something has changed. In warriors, there is no fantasy or monsters, just cats in the real world, surviving in the wild. A PMV is a Picture Music Video, made by one animator. An AMV is the same thing, but the P is swapped with an A to stand for Animated Music Video (meaning more fluid animation/ more frames). Hope this helps!
