well he effed up, everything that has happened in this series is the result of his inaction. he could have just repaired the autobots and had the decepticons imprisoned and the bots could have repaired and left earth long ago. now all the death and destruction to the autobots and earth can technically be laid at his feet. the comic has been pretty realistic to this point so i hope they realistically portray the betrayal the other autobots would feel when they find out. its kinda similar to how in the original cartoon, the entire series events and eventual defeat of the decepticons was all the result of starscream arrogantly taking pot shots at the ark and causing optimus' revival.

Ditto. Like he could of drag the Decepticon bodies out of the Ark, buried them or thrown them in a active volcano and then revived his allies!
