I think most of us relate to this guy. Not in terms of intelligence because he's probably much superior to me in that, but in the field of thinking. actually i was expecting him to talk about food, which obviously is our main source of energy and affects the way our body works as a whole. it’s frustrating that most of the population on earth doesn’t think of good nutrition as something crucial for our full and satisfactory existence. the cells in our body have a life cycle, so it exists an equilibrium. cancer is basically this: cells that stay alive and keep reproducing themselves, producing tumours. actually we could randomly get cancer anytime, but our immunological system is in charge of eradicating it. so, taking in consideration that these cells nourishment is glucose, basically sugar and carbohydrates (our body discomposes these into glucose) it is pretty logical that if we cut these off then they won’t have any source of energy. but before getting into that sad stage, couldn’t we just avoid a lot of diseases and even making it easier to handle for the ones that are unavoidable if we just start eating what we are meant to as human beings? and how do i know that? well, we haven’t evolved in terms of physical features since the times when we used to hunt and collect things. (such as seeds, greens and fruits). so basically we spent 2.5M years consuming only these and diseases like cancer and diabetes didn’t exist at all. so every problem related to health due to nutrition started when mankind discovered agriculture and carbohydrates began to have a crucial place in our diets. (just about 10 thousand years ago) and this is wrong. (the only amount of carbohydrates we need it’s actually implicit in veggies and fruits. that’s the minuscule amount we need. as the sugar in fruits) so, my conclusion is that everything is a capitalist business. we are part of it, in every aspect of our lives, and won’t ever be able to scape it. but we can at least change our lifestyle to feel better. srry if i made some mistakes, english is not my native language:)
