I find it extraordinarily closed-minded that you cannot stand back from a truly revolting, non-Gospel based hymn and see it for what it is. Challenging the concepts in THIS HYMN does not challenge either Scripture or Faith. It is this PARTICULAR hymn that is revolting in its way of portraying Salvation. Can you not clear you mind and pay attention to what the first two lines actually DESCRIBE. It is a revolting idea! Thank God that you are not required to actually do it, in order to be saved!
