I think this was more like a guestappearens. He was never going to enter the ordinary competition since his voice can't be disguised... And some of his fans called his name out loud as he came in to the studio. He's 6'3, and dressed in the Kazakh Eagle, so... 🙃 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

They knew who it was at the start of the show, when all the participants walked out onto the stage. The audience yelled out his name lol. Can’t hide his aura or his voice! His unmasking after this performance wasn’t a surprise to anyone there. This is one of my favorite performances of his; just brilliant.

Dimash's height, [in China] & the golden eagle [national bird of Kazakhstan] costume gave him away, before even beginning to sing. He heard someone say his name in the audience, so he gave up on trying to disguise his voice.

This was in 2019. The costume he wears represents the steppe eagle. This bird of prey is the symbol on the Kazakh flag. He was worried before the performance, because of the mask. In an interview he said that he was recognised from that moment he went on stage because he could hear from the audience calling his name „Dimashi“, that was it 😅. Let’s be honest. How long did they think Dimash would go undetected. At first he wanted to change his voice and hold back a bit, but after the audience recognized him immediately, he also wanted to sing the song properly. He's just a perfectionist. Many recognized him before he even sang a note as there are not many 6 ft 3 in Chinese performers. They started chanting DiMaShi before he even started, so he just went for it. The costume was custom made to his specifications. They gifted him the costume after the performance.

Truly, I’d love to see the entire show for this one! From what I had read, Dimash was invited to participate in this show (Masked Singer) in China, but he didn’t have enough time to do an extended filming so - if I’ve read correctly and remember properly- he would have had to do all of his portion of the show in one day. He also did a duet with another singer - I think it was “I Want it That Way” and the other guy was MC J? Truthfully, there was no suspense since anyone who had heard Dimash before recognized his voice as soon as he opened his mouth! Love your enthusiasm and respect. Cheers from Canada! 😊

From my point of view, I cannot make a top ranking of Dimash's songs, the original ones, regardless of the composer (Igor, Dimash or someone else), leaving aside the covers. I come back to the idea, so I can't make a top. Why? Simple: each song by Dimash has a different theme, a different melodic line, different feelings, different tonalities. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... Almost all of them are masterpieces. It is as if Dimash is a father of dozens of children. I don't think he could tell a difference between them. Each piece has its place in time and space, it is appropriate in a certain context, event. Each song takes you on a certain journey, be it magical, be it angelic, be it love or be it a story, either sad, or happy, or fighting, or patriotic. We have to be consistent and say that all the pi eces are exceptional, not one can be compared to another, because a parent loves all his children the same!!! Dimash is a miracle, so his absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. The goosebumps and hypnosis induced by Dimash are the characteristics of his concerts and appearance on stage, which are shaped by his endless beauty, sometimes translucent, sometimes sensual, sometimes angelic !!! Dimash is storm, thunder, lightning, sun, rain, smile, but also love and last but not least he is our hope and our daily light, he is our spiritual food when you put your head on the pillow and start dreaming like tomorrow it's a day… !!!!! Dimash has God's kiss on his heart!!!! Dimash's cerebral hemisphere are like the mathematics of song. The precision, the climax of the pieces, the breath control, all are mathematical. Nothing higher, nothing lower. Absolute accuracy !!! Not to mention, he has the number of destiny 7, the number of God. One more proof that Dimash is sent by God in the art of love through song!!!

Fun fact: The color of the eagle on the flag is gold. But it’s actually a steppe eagle depicted. The golden eagle looks similar, but it’s a different animal. (The national animal of Germany and some other countries is the golden eagle) I think the mixup comes from the color of the flag. 🤔

Great reaction to the greatest singer/performer on the planet. I'd like to recommend another fantastic young singer from the UK 19 year old Lucy Thomas. She really is something special, please consider reacting to the Barbara Streisand song "Evergreen" or her duet with her 14 year old sister Martha "Mary Did You Know?" These performances are truly world class and I'm sure you'll love them. She has just released her 5th studio album, and is due to star in a new musical called "Rosie" especially written for her in the Autumn.

And right... the audience immediately recognized who was singing there, but of course the jury had to keep appearances as long as possible. From what I heard or read the minute he started some of the girls said his name and he knew it was up so he just sang his best. He of course did not make it past the first show. Had the fans been smart they would not have said anything so they could see more of him!
