@@shannondaney1904 you meant Hurts. Thats what I thought. Yeah, Hurts sucks. Its Obvious that Hurts is a pedestrian QB on a great team. Oh, I almost forgot If Smith does'nt drop that perfect pass from Pickett its game over we win.

It showed the long ball can unlock opposing defenses... something Jalen hasn't wanted to unleash much of the season. Maybe seeing Pickett do that will convince Jalen that in the win-or-go-home playoffs, it's time to start throwing deep. I watched the games this weekend, and none of the teams I watched scare me. The Christmas Day games showed the Chiefs and Ravens are playing better, and we all know the Bills can drop 35+ points on a lot of teams. They would be the top three teams behind the Eagles. I just don't see any NFC teams playing high-quality ball. The Packers and Vikings looked mediocre playing each other, and we've already beaten the Packers when we weren't remotely as good as we are now. We beat the Rams easily, the Falcons don't look that good (and our loss was before the Week 5 bye when the Eagles made adjustements to get far better), Washington can't beat us (because they got super lucky in the Hurts concussion game, and they won't be able to do the same thing against us, with or without Jalen) and the Bucs look meh having lost to Dallas and then destroying a very bad Carolina team. That leaves Detroit, but unless they get back a bunch of their injured players, I can't see them keeping up with Philly.

Its superbowl or bust for me at this point. There are no major weaknesses on this team when fully healthy. I dont think there is a team in the NFC that should be able to hang with us in the playoffs if (and this is the big if) if we play our type of tough, hit you in the mouth, mistake free football. I think all of our losses was us beating ourselves most of the time, not because we faced a more talented team. So yeah if we have an early exit from the playoffs that would be a huge disappointment at this point. We have too many special players on this roster and a clubhouse mentality that was designed to win championships. Go Birds!

Problem with this pass game is it doesn’t work with Hurts.. He too quick to bail out the pocket and run… He refuses to stay in and step up in the pocket.. Picketts first TD to Devonta was bc he got deep drop and stepped up to make that throw.. That same play hurts would pull it down and run left bc there was a huge hole… But Smitty was WIDE OPEN!!! So i rather him stay and make throw!!! Im over him running and not waiting for his 2 monster WRs to get open

There is no team that concerns me more than any other. We have to understand, the Eagles are going to be at their highest level of physicality and intensity. Also , Siriani , Fangio , Moore and Stoutland are going to capitalize on our consistent areas of strength and the strengths and weaknesses of our opponent. We were 10-1 with below average OC & DC last year and no Barkley & beat all the top QBs. We have Fangio and Moore and Barkley now , we're gonna win it all

I fear the Lions are going to present problems for the Eagles. Kenny Pickett was engineer of the best passing game the Eagles had this year. The Steelers game was another good game but the passing game felt forced and was inconsistent. The Vikings are another team. They're a good team that plays through their defense. Sam Darnold is going to make plays and Kevin O'Connell is going to always have his offense in a good position to succeed.

What nonsense! NO ANSWER? Tell that to Jayden Daniels. Tell it to Atlanta. Tell it to Tampa. They beat A depleted Dallas team with a 2nd string quarterback who had no one to throw to and no reason to make an effort. They also presented the dallas defense with a pair of QBs competent in their first reads from under center, in the pistol or in the gun , very much unlike the first string quarterback, who, while talented, seems to have limitations so severe that the franchise broke its own rules to acquire Saquon, AND the OC can not seem to find RELIABLE ways to expand the 1st string game beyond Jalen's core competencies of running, creating on the run, and throwing out of the gun. Does Hurts' poor performance at the end of last season followed by an uncharacteristic GM acquisition of a featured back suggest that Jalen had his bell rung affecting his cognitive abilities last year and they did not know if hurts could function in 24? Who knows? If his bell had not been rung, is he plain stubborn, sulking cause his fave coach is gone, or incapable of the complex learning required to reliably function in a drop back pocket? While the defense is sexy despite spotting DC 36 points, the offense is far from mysterious to any serious competent defense truly interested in competing
@alive54823 күн бұрын
Saquon drops a pass thats seal the game vs ATL. No LJ, AJ, or Smitty in TB with 100+ degree weather. Hurts gets injured and Smitty drops a pass that would seal the game vs Wash. Yeah sure the Eagles can be beaten but it takes some fucking luck and/or extreme climate to do it. Eagles play two way complimentary football. This comment is some verbose nonsense.
