This, imo, hits WAY heavier than valiant hero. The whole "sacrifice" thing is an old trope and they were also referencing tales from the borderlands, and that added a layer of funny. This? There is no funny here. It's simply a beautiful song about loss, delivered in a very clever way that uses words and phrases common to games and programming, yet in a way that speaks, and it's one program singing to another. Whole other level.
