"There Is No One Righteous"... Or Is There??

The apostle Paul famously says in Romans 3:10 that, "There is no one righteous, not even one." This verse has been used as the foundation for a whole doctrinal system about righteousness and justification. But what do we do with all the scriptures that seem to say that there are, in fact, righteous people? Have we perhaps misunderstood what Paul is trying to say in Romans 3?

So glad I came across your channel. I love the Aussie way of using plain language to describe "gospel truth". I think you've got a great opportunity to express in even simpler terms, the ideas and doctrines that guys like NT Wright, McKnight, etc are teaching. And of course Heiser (who use plain speech himself, with good humour and delightful laughter) We only dislike you in cricket and rugby, other than that, you're an ok bunch!

@@thestoryandtheshape I'd love to hear about your background and theological journey from reformed Calvinism to where you are now. Have you posted this anywhere or will you make video/blog of it at some stage? It seems to me that there's a groundswell of the restless and reformed becoming restless with with the reformed way. I'm on this journey too after many years and feel like I need to unlearn everything and learn all over again how to live and talk/share as a Christian
