This is exactly what I thought when I first saw a Soraka build warmog's. And let me tell you as an ARAM gamer, it's SO unfair. This has to be the most broken thing in existence. It feels like wichever team has it wins by default. 90% winrate minimum.

@@saskimo3932 W max only increases your healing to teammates, whereas Q max increases your healing to your teammates, your self healing, and your poke. Maxing Q before W is better in almost every situation I can possibly think of, and Raka is probably my most played character, so I can think of a lot of scenarios 😛

​@@Ranger74352I usually max Soraka her W because scales a lot better than Q because of the cooldowns. Q goes from 8 to 4 seconds. W from 6 to 2. Going from level 4 to level 5 W is a big spike for Soraka since your heal per second increases by +-65%. Furthermore having a 2 sec cd W means you can get the empowered W off twice since it lingers for 2.5 seconds. So it effectively also doubles the Q healing. Not to say that maxing Q does not have it uses. But in general I like maxing W as a Soraka main.

@@HDennis The burst healing is a little better, but I find Q max allows me to stay in lane a lot longer, which lets me keep healing my adc for longer, so my overall healing output over time is still higher than if I were to W max.

warmogs first on raka is nuts her w heals based off of her own max hp, you may heal back eventually but building more hp is not necessarily good. thats why heal and shield power is good on her; you heal your allies for more than you lost

In fairness it kinda makes sense considering ARAM is one nonstop skirmish, and especially in higher Elo it seems like you're constantly having 2v2/3v3/4/4s even in laning phase these days. As long as the item pacing works out seems like a good ARAM build should work decent in the rift

Do you really not know you're supposed to press W after Q because it reduces the hp cost and adds regen that pretty much doubles the healing? You did it like 2 times in the entire video and both it seems to be an accident.

@@pekinwoof2 but it's next to free; there's no reason not to. Sivir minutes 0-10 in the video laning like normal, missing some hp from trading, you repeatedly land Q and never ever press W when you have the q passive on you to reduce the hp cost and give regen. It's genuinely kind of frustrating to watch. All the missing value just because "it never felt necesary during those moments i landed Q" If she's less than 100% hp and you have mana, it's worth it to press W after landing Q.
