Hi Michael, I am beyond inspired by you and your bass playing. It's been that way for a long time. I am praying hard that I can get Joe Zon to custom build a Michael Manring Hyperbass for me. You and I spoke on the phone many years ago for a brief period of time. I had a bass shop in Kansas City then. I live in California now in Morro Bay. When things open back up, I hope to be able to finally shake your hand and introduce myself to you in person. Btw, I am friends with Andy McKee...I think you know eachother. Anyway, I love your music, what you do on the bass and the continued inspiration your gift gives all of us who witness what you do. Thank you...until we meet! Be Well.

I play bass myself, just a 4 string - but I gotta say your set up especially with two tunings per string, and incorporating that - is beyond amazing. Harmonics are spot on too. Excuse me Mr. Manring by far for me one of the best bass lines. My younger self didn’t really get your palm muting - but it definitely fits with ambiance - I get it now. @@seanforsythe78 I wish I had a magic secret, Sean, but for me it's always just been working on something like "Sardonic Grin" until I get it.
