So here’s my mini stance on “cheesing” challenges: if a creator wants their challenge to only be beaten in 1 way, it’s up to them to test other towers not used in the challenge to prevent any alternate solutions. Unless they specify not to use a certain upgrade, I’d consider a challenge beaten no matter the method used to beat it. In this case I tried again just to see the real solution and came across 2 other solutions which IMO were just as good as the intended solution. That said, one gripe I have for challenges in general is when creators leave in a bunch of towers that aren’t used in the challenge at all for the sake of making it harder to find the actual towers you need to beat it. I like hard challenges, but not that kind of hard! If you are one of those that do that though then be prepared to accept the fact there may be another solution if you didn’t test the challenge enough.

They are called challenges, not riddles, if the person who plays it finds a way to beat it, then they win, if the creator doesn't wants some towers to get used, why even put them in the challenge in the first place? They should just keep testing them until they find a way to just be beaten 1 way and/or remove those towers that the creator are gonna consider "cheese towers"

I feel if there is a really easy way to win a challenge that is meant to be hard, like using BMA sometimes, it is a cheese, however ISAB almost always uses something else that is equally or even more difficult than the intended solution, which is not cheese, just an alternate solution

I beat the challenge with tsar bomba and 0-1-3 super. It took me 20-40 minutes to get the solution. I had the same idea as you, with tsar bomba and spike storm, but I did too much damage. I agree with your stance on cheese as well. As this game is a strategy game, it isn't like a platformer in which one path is intended to make the challenge difficult, in which cheese is a much better term. The challenge to beat a strategy game is to find a working strategy, not to find a specific way that the creator made.

I managed to beat it using a Tsar Bomba to take care of the ddt wave and then buying level 20 Ezili and Hexing the bads. I assume this is the intended strat though considering it left me with exactly $200. My closest attempts besides this were an antibloon with an energizer sub and a tsar bomba with a preemptive strike. I don't think either of these combos could actually work though.
