Back in 2007/2008, I did a play called “Zap!” Between two high school acting classes. Amanda was also in that play. She emitted such raw talent, and it makes me happy to see her succeeding in a field she’s always been so passionate about! Fantastic job, Amanda! I’m super proud of you!

Youre honestly the best Kate there's been. I saw one of the others sing this and she had so much emotion (which isn't bad) but she also showed a lot of it on her face as if she forgot that was her AND the puppet. Your voice is beautiful and so are you

Really? I'm assuming you've seen Stephanie D'Abruzzo from OBC. She killed it so hard, that, imho, no one can come even close. Now, I'm not trying to disparage Amanda's performance, I liked it very much. But, I'm just a simple Polak and not a huge theatre fan, so I just focused on the fact that she has an amazing body. Yeah, sorry.

@@Biend Stephanie is a trained puppeteer and worked on Sesame Street prior to originating the role of Kate Monster in Avenue Q. It shows in how much more controlled her movements of the puppet are while she's singing this song. Amanda does a great job with this song, but you can tell she's a singer first and foremost. I can't imagine how hard it is for folks to be told "okay, you gotta belt this song, but also move this sock around on your arm and make it look human". LOL

I am learning this song for an audition next week 😱 Really love your performance!!!!! You interact with the puppet so perfectly :)) I like how you don't "compete" with it, but act as if it was the puppet singing (if that makes sense :D). Are you studying musical theatre? Greetings from Germany ☺️
