I have had the same experience with writing songs especially the lyrics…. I feel we are all channeling through not only art but also random acts of kindness etc. “nothing I have is truly mine”….. what i find most helpful for my forgiveness practice with movies -- is to use the characters' egos and behaviors thereof -- as ways of observing my own (ego) reactions --this to me is "the" spiritual teaching that movies have to offer.
