I believe in the healing ministry of Kathryn Kuhlman, Smith Wigglesworth etc...BUT I truly do not understand for Joan Gieson was on Sid Roth but this testimony and the one on Sid Roth differ greatly. She said she was blind and could not see when she went to get healed. She said she had one son and had given him to her sister to raise, along with all of her clothes. There are some similarities, but in this video she does not say that she was blind. I am disheartened. God’s power of healing is real, yet these differences would bring a skeptic to highly doubt her testimony. 😔

Yes, I can see how a skeptic could have a problem, although there are no outright discrepancies between the two interviews. I see them as pieces of a jigsaw puzzle that needed to be put together, as Joan had multiple medical problems. Joan had every evidence of a brain tumor, but back in 1968 they did not have the high tech tests like CAT scans and MRIs that would have provided surefire medical evidence of the tumor. At that time, brain tumor diagnosis meant a full office workup, but they would avoid the few surefire tests that they had at the time --- like pneumoencephalagraphy --- a very painful test that involved draining the cerebrospinal fluid and injecting air into the ventricles of the brain, thus resulting in clear x-ray pictures. Joan would have surely had the test had she not been healed at the KK service. Just antecedent to her healing in Pittsburgh, Joan had been told by the top neurosurgeon in Missouri that she had EVERY EVIDENCE of a brain tumor and most likely would not live. She does mention this important point @ 7:20 in the interview. (Blindness, hemorrhaging behind the eyes, and loss of balance were all classic indicators of a brain tumor). Your concern is valid, however, as healing is used by God for the salvation of souls, and false or exaggerated claims bring a reproach on Holy Spirit and hinder God's purposes. The lack of a more complete medical record --- even given the testimony of a top neurosurgeon --- is the reason Kathryn never included Joan Gieson's healing testimony in any of her three volumes. (Kathryn had very strict criteria because of the unbelieving world).

Your choice words of a “puzzle”. I am captivated by the tapestry that God weaves in bringing us to Him. I sincerely believe that He wove me into His Beautiful tapestry. I may have thought that I came to Him by my own accord, since there was not a person that led me to Christ. Yet All the Glory goes to Him! Once again, thank you and God Bless you!!

Evidently important parts were cut out because Joan talked so much about her weight issue {Check out 12:02-12:10}. However, I'm sure someone has the uncut interview somewhere out there in electronica :-) that would give a more complete record.

I heard that testimony too. She said that she even planned to give her son to her sister in case she died, she did not say of giving him away. She just explains more about the blindness here, that's all. With tumour pressing and the optical haemorrhage there can be partial vision sometimes maybe. In another recent video she talks about her blindness saying, that it would come and go, come and go.
