There's so much good stuff in there. The personal touch when you deviate from the Sarandon style kinda fits, even though I'm a sucker for staying close to the original at the start. Love the little slides like the Mr. President one at 0:54. Lot of good shit. I personally hate the Hs and Is, find them grating (1:02 lahaight, 1:09 everyiii). Feels like you can sing really well, you have a very nice singing voice and a lot of expression and probably power, so those bits sound like caricature. I bet if you want to, you can leave tongue out of cheek and go all-in. I like this cover, I like plenty of the added charm, I like your singing. Don't take away from the goodness. Hold those notes and shine.
