The reason that you got blue form on the second game is because when you are primarily blue and you have like 1 hit left until form if you want to get red form you need to hit (judging off how blue your circle was) at least 7-8 times and get the kill in order to get red form there. 3 hits on a jax isnt enough to turn the tables off of how blue it was tinted towards the end.

If you miss all your skillshots or flash into the middle of the enemy team the best build in the world isn't gonna help, but so long as you can play it reasonably, pretty much anything is viable up to Masters. It's after that where the people you play against start getting skilled enough with the meta champs that it makes going off meta more difficult. Before that, best to ignore what's meta and play what you enjoy and are most comfortable with.

I'd assume it's an oversight but they're probably aware of it. No reason to fix it, since there's no feasible way the enemy team is at Kayn's Nexus when he's transforming

Kayne is one of a number of champions riot released in which they tried to give the champion two roles, with zero consideration on how you'd actually balance such a kit.

Before it seemed like they made 2 champions of the same concept and gutted it and gave it forms for both. It was debatably balanced since Kayn was weak af but it seems like he got buffed quite a lot over the years (Which also buffed Rhaast and Shadow Assassin 😂)

kayn is a balanced champ, just try to kill him everytime in his base form, if hes behind by a lot its easy to win, if you're rhaast and you're fed then its already over for the enemy team, unless they have mad cc and a lot of damage, cause tanks ain't be able to touch rhaast and blue kayn is just like base form, just a bit faster and more agile

@@motafu1 Just beat him early isn't counterplay or balance. That's true of any champion in the game. Yes he power spikes after he transforms, but this isn't just a problem with him. It's a fundamental problem that a number of champions that they've released. Including those like Pyke, K'Sante, and Kayn are probably the worst cases, but there are other less egregious examples too. They just don't have proper kit design to balance, because riot pushed them having a kit that can properly fill 2 roles and forced as many mechanics into it as necessary to make that happen. Old designs have secondary roles which can be leaned into and sometimes have use cases, e.g. support Ashe. But using one or two mechanics in a champion's kit to fill an off role is a totally different balancing problem than a kit that can just be played in which ever role they didn't nerf or abuse changes intended to affect the other role.

I feel like Katarina shouldn’t have built AD. With Viego jungle and Yone top, plus Kaisa going stormrazor, their team didn’t have enough magic damage, especially in the early game. Plus if she had gone Riftmaker with Demonic she would still do decent damage to the tanks and be able to heal for a good amount too, which makes extended fights favor her. Of course she still wouldn’t be able to fight you 1on1 because of your ult but it would at least make team fights go more in her favor.
